Rep. John Ward, DFL-Brainerd, announced this week the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources is accepting proposals for funding from the Environmental and Natural Resources Trust Fund.
More information on the application process may be obtained by visiting www.lccmr.leg.mn. Project proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. April 9.
Additional flu clinic planned
In response to the public's request to have a chance for working adults as well as second doses for kids, the Crow Wing County Community Services Health Division will host an additional walk-in flu clinic (H1N1 and seasonal) from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Crow Wing County Public Health office at 204 Laurel St., Suite 12, Brainerd. The other clinics are still planned for 2-4 p.m. every Wednesday in February.

Back to Hack rescheduled
HACKENSACK - Back to Hack, a celebration of winter by the Hackensack Chamber of Commerce, was postponed in late January due to an ice storm. It has been rescheduled for March 13-14, and will include many of the activities previously scheduled and some new activities as well. A complete schedule will follow soon.
However, Back to Hack will include a craft show, treasure hunt, ice racing, radar runs, chili feed, spaghetti dinner and the Snowflake Pageant featuring the Hackensack Divas.
