No one can accuse the Brainerd Warrior gymnastics team of being complacent. They captured their 7th straight CLC championship by 12 points over runner-up St. Cloud Tech, and did so by scoring a school record 144.1 points.

Saying that a picket line of 40-50 people is "inherently intimidating," Judge Clinton Wyant ordered today that no more than three strikers may picket the entrance to Larco Manufacturing at any given time.

Dennis Gustafson, Pequot Lakes, was hired as county zoning officer by the Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners. Gustafson was selected by a 4-1 vote on a secret ballot from seven applicants interviewed for the position. The position pays $10,500 per year.

More than 1,000 employees of the Northern Pacific's Brainerd shops, families and friends, arrived in Minneapolis today on a 13-car special train where they were greeted by the Minneapolis mayor. They will attend the Minnesota - Illinois basketball game.

One of the swellest social functions of the season was the dancing party given at Elks Hall by Dr. and Mrs. Werner Hemstead and Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Hartley. The hall was decorated with potted plants and Brainerd's leading society people were present.
