Hanowski, Flyers continue perfect season

LITTLE FALLS - Ben Hanowski continued his chase for Johnny Pohl's 379 career points record with a hat trick and two assists as Class 1A's second ranked and unbeaten Little Falls Flyers roared by the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 9-1 in a Section 6-1A matchup Tuesday.

Hanowski is now 33 points shy of the state record.

Michael Sperl stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced for the Flyers.

W-DC's goalie Allen Uselman stopped 46 shots and Dylan Carlisle scored the Wolverines only goal.

Cody Chambers, Sam Johnson, Justin Miska and Max Engen scored goals for Northern Lakes and Trey Flesch stopped all 15 shots he faced.
