Gobblers cruise by Isle to stay perfect in conference

AITKIN - The Aitkin Gobblers ran their conference unbeaten streak to 11 with a 70-28 Great River Conference victory over the Isle Huskies.

Aitkin's Meredith Chaput had 23 points and Emily Mehr added 22. The Gobblers shot 62-percent from the floor and 11-13 from the free throw line.

LITTLE FALLS - Trisha Wippler's 14 points led the Little Falls Flyers to a 67-41 Central Lakes Conference win over the Rocori Spartans Tuesday.

The Flyers' Paige Beseman and Katie Hochsprung each had 12 points, while Whitney Weisz had 11.
