Spuds edge Flying Warriors

Ellie Whiteman tallied a goal and an assist as the Brainerd/Little Falls Flying Warriors were defeated 5-4 by the Moorhead Spuds in non-conference action Tuesday.

The Flying Warriors' Sarah Gorvin opened the scoring with a goal three minutes into the contest. Nicole Godbout, Lizzy Desrocher and Ellie Whiteman rounded out B/LF's scoring.

Flying Warriors goalie Nhi Dinh stopped 22 shots.
