A 21-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man appeared in court here today following the discovery Monday of the body of a baby in the woman's suitcase. No charges of homicide or neglect are expected to be filed, natural causes being cited in the death.

A nuisance charge was re-invoked against Carrie White and the defendant was ordered to pay the balance on a $100 fine. The defendant stated she had always been opposed to liquor, even before prohibition. Liquor was seized in a raid on her premises.

Owing to the secretary being a juror in a case on trial, the meeting of stockholders of the Maple Grove Creamery was not held. The next meeting will be held on Feb. 8 to determine whether to rent, move or sell the creamery.
