HIBBING - Becky Skiba's 22 points helped the Central Lakes College women's basketball team easily defeat MCCC Northern Division opponent Hibbing 75-50 Saturday.
CLC coach Dennis Eastman said the victory places his team in a good position.
"This win gives us a 5-2 conference record and puts us pretty solidly in third place. We have a two game lead over the fourth-place team now and the top four teams in the division go to the state tournament," he said. "If we continue to take care of our business the rest of the way we should be able to advance to the postseason."
Cayla Collison added 14 points for the Raiders.
