PEQUOT LAKES -- Jerry Edwin Wallin, 51, Pequot Lakes, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Nisswa.
He was born March 21, 1951, in Brainerd to Oscar and Ruth (Siefert) Wallin. He graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1969. He attended Brainerd Junior College and graduated from Brainerd Vocational School in small engine repair. He married Judy Gravdahl on Aug. 3, 1973, in Pequot Lakes. He worked at Gravdahl-Robideaux Implement then Thurlow Hardware in Pequot Lakes. They managed a cattle ranch north of Pierz. He was involved in the printing industry most of his life, recently with Range Printing. He was an appraiser for the Crow Wing County Assessor's Office and an independent assessor. He was a member of Pequot Lakes Baptist Church. They hosted several foreign exchange students.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Janet Salut and Joy Wallin, both of Pequot Lakes; two sons, Jeremy Wallin, Crosby, and Jonathon Wallin, Pequot Lakes; his mother, Nisswa; two grandchildren; two sisters, Caroljean Weise, Nisswa, and Jeanette Fee, Crookston; and five brothers, Calvin Wallin, Nisswa, John Wallin, Nisswa, James Wallin, Brainerd, Joseph Wallin, Pequot Lakes, and Paul Wallin, St. Joseph.
His father died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in Gravdahl Family Cemetery in Pequot Lakes. Memorials are preferred.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
