Brainerd cheerleading team claims third place in state competition

The Brainerd High School cheerleading team took third place in the Minnesota Cheerleading Coaches Association state cheerleading competition Saturday at Concordia College in St. Paul.
The team competed against six other teams in the large school varsity division. Teams in the division were Roseville, Robbinsdale, Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Elk River and Rochester.

FJH task force to meet
The Brainerd School District's Franklin Junior High Task Force will meet 7 p.m. today at the school to meet with the Crossing Arts Alliance and a company called Art Space.
