A 25-year-old Brainerd woman, who was a passenger in a car that was involved in a rollover Monday on Crow Wing County Road 4, south of Breezy Point, has died.
North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale reported Saturday that Sheena Johnson died. The hospital reported Johnson in critical condition early Friday afternoon.
Johnson was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Joshua Johnson, 25, who was treated at St. Cloud Hospital and later released.
Two other passengers in the car, Kevin Porter, 32, and Charles Palmer, 27, also suffered injuries in the accident. Porter was in fair condition Saturday at North Memorial. Palmer was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. The hospital had no information on his condition.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident, which happened about 6:30 p.m. Monday. It reported that the vehicle went off Crow Wing County Road 4, rolled over in the ditch and hit a tree.
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call of a cooking-stove fire at 11:35 a.m. Friday at 623 S.W. 6th St. in Brainerd.
It was reported that a pan was on fire, and it was extinguished before firefighters got there.
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 5:35 a.m. Saturday at the Regency Apartments. It turned out to be a false alarm.
