Catherine M. Eide

Catherine M. Eide, 82, Brainerd, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

She was born May 22, 1920, in Little Falls to Walter and Anna (Wenker) Tuholski. She married Joseph A. Eide. He died in 1978. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd and was a guild member. She was a Brainerd Senior Center Volunteer and helped with the Meals on Wheels Program.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph Eide, Peter Eide, Shakopee, and John Eide, Paynesville; six daughters, Katherine Ivie, Myton, Utah; Patricia Curtner, Minneapolis, Bernadine Anderson, Nisswa, Margaret Baker, Stanwood, Wash., Zita Knop, Cass Lake, and Marie Francis, Brainerd; 29 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Bradley, Sulfur Springs, Texas.

Her husband, and brothers and sisters, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Richard Oberstar officiating. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday with a parish rosary at 7 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Thursday at the church.
