Nisswa man dies after snowmobile hits tree in field

NISSWA -- An 18-year-old Nisswa man died as a result of a snowmobile accident Saturday, Crow Wing County Sheriff Chief Deputy Irv Tollefson said this morning.
Eric A. Hardy died after the Polaris 500 snowmobile he was driving hit a tree in a field off County Road 4.
Tollefson said Hardy's mother called to report her son missing at 2 a.m. Saturday. Hardy was found on the Hardys' property near Cozy Bay Resort at 11:54 a.m.
