Bowling champs crowned

Champions have been determined in the Brainerd Women's Bowling Association City Tournament at Paul Bunyan Bowl in Baxter.

The Insurance Office won the team championship with total pinfall of 2,994.

Val Holstein and Carrol Danner won the doubles competition with 1,297 total pins.

Doris Mezzenga was the singles champion with a 717 series. She also captured the all-events title (with handicap) with 1,872 total.

Ruth Tiedeman won the all-events (scratch) title with 1,605 pinfall.
