Karen F. Dehn

DEERWOOD -- Karen Faye Dehn, 64, Deerwood, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, as the result of a traffic accident near Brainerd.

She was born March 2, 1936, in Crosby to Orville and Hazel (Root) Northburg. She married David Adolph Dehn on July 16, 1966, in Crosby. She was a retired secretary with service to Minnesota Power and Light, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Cascade United Methodist Church of Deerwood, and was currently acting secretary of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Scott Dehn, Minneapolis, and Tim Dehn, St. Cloud; and her mother, of Deerwood.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby with the Rev. Dean Stolz officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church's candelabra fund.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and an hour before services Saturday at the church.
