Sarah Steffen and Andy Fredman were married June 28, 2003, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Alexandria with Pastor John LeVahn and the Rev. Robert Osell officiating.
Parents are Michael and Ronna Steffen, Alexandria, and Gary and Lenora Fredman, Pillager.
The bride's attendants were Elizabeth Steffen, Sarah Borner, Alyssa Fredman, Amy Fredman, Maria Haug and Amber Wiener.
Flower girl was Megan Phinney. Personal attendants were Marnee Ackerman and Tessa Dutcher.
The groom's attendants were Peter Fredman, Derrick Kunze, Josh Myles, Joe Clouser, Robert Popoczack and Chris Browning. Ring bearer was Alex LaPierre. Ushers were Dave Gjerdingen, Steve Gjerdingen, Phil Oyen and Terry Van Veldhuizen.
Dinner was at the Evangelical Covenant Church and there was a reception following at the bride's parents' home.
The bride graduated from Alexandria High School and Bethel College. She is a marriage and family therapy student at Bethel Seminary.
The groom graduated from Pillager High School, Michigan Technological University and the University of Vermont. He is employed as an electrical engineer at Open Systems International in Plymouth.
The couple is at home in Roseville.
