The 2005 Kinship Partners board was chosen at a recent board meeting. Jim Voiss, vice president of finance for Acrometal Management Cos., was elected president. Miranda Anderson, marketing specialist at Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union, was named vice president.
Pam Thomsen, Central Lakes College accounting instructor, was named treasurer. Shelli Urness, non-profit specialist at Bremer Bank in Brainerd, was named secretary. Julie Despot, Pequot Lakes Community Education director, is a new board member.
Kinship Partners is a local youth mentor program serving families in Crow Wing and southern Cass counties.
