Milloys to speak
Central Lakes College will feature Brainerd physician Dr. Paul Milloy and his wife, Mariana at a one-hour presentation. The presentation will be noon Thursday in room E343 at Central Lakes College. They will discuss their recent trip to Cuba where they worked with Dr. Patch Adams and met the father of Elian Gonzalez, the central figure in a high-profile custodial dispute between relatives in the United States and Cuba.
Brainerd A Cappella Choir fundraiser
The Brainerd A Cappella Choir is having a multi-family rummage sale to raise money for their spring tour to France March 17-25. The rummage sale will be from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in the Brainerd High School cafeteria.
Aitkin Riverboat Lions Club
The Aitkin Riverboat Lions Club (formerly Aitkin Lioness) will have charter night on Feb. 12 at the American Legion Club. 194th Tank Regiment
The 194th Tank Regiment will meet at 7 p.m. at the Brainerd National Guard Armory on Tuesday, Feb. 15 instead of Monday, Feb. 14.
First Aid class
St. Joseph's Medical Center is sponsoring first aid classes beginning Thursday from 6-10 p.m. The dates for the other classes are March 9, April 13, May 23 and June 22.
