SCHERTZ, Texas -- Eugene "Bud" D. Ryan, 74, Schertz, Texas, formerly of Brainerd, died Jan. 22, 2004. He is survived by Blanche, his wife of 53 years; two sons, Greg and Ron; a daughter, Cheryl Ivey; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters Betty Sohns and Donna Black. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alma Ryan, and his son, Brad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 53 years and the Alamo Heights Optimist Club.
