A Gull Lake site believed to be valued in the neighborhood of three-quarters of a million dollars has been donated to the State Department of Natural Resources. The land was donated as an addition to the Pillsbury State Forest by Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Brownlee Cote of Lake Hubert.

Three members of the Brainerd Elks Lodge were presented with pins last night. They were William Demmers (50 years), James Alderman, Sr. (60 years) and Arthur Dondelinger (50 years).

Sophomore Doug Moilanen was a compact choice to fill the gap called by the sidelining through injury of Warriors Basketball ace Dale Brown as he contributed five field goals to a Brainerd attack which outscored Aitkin for a 66-43 victory. The Warriors are now 10-1 on the season.

Edward W. Imgrund, 39-year-old businessman, today became acting Postmaster of the Brainerd Post Office. Mr. Imgrund succeeds Earl J. O'Brien.
