Vera L. Moritz Wuest
CROSBY - Vera Loretta Moritz Wuest, 96, of Crosby, died on Jan. 25, 2007, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born May 11, 1910, in Paynesville, Minn., to Curtis and Florence (Robbins) Gordon. She is a retired dietary assistant at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond (Janice) Moritz and Eugene (Marilyn) Moritz, all of Crosby; two daughters, Betty LaBorde, of Crosby, Marjorie (Jim) Wheeler, of Merrifield; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Louis L. Moritz; second husband, Emory Wuest; three brothers, Curtis, Duane, Buck Gordon; three sisters, Nellie Jetty, Mabel Mattsen and Lucille O'Neil; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Monday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
