Rotarian Karen Kirt read to Nancy Redshaw's second-grade class Friday during Rotary Reader Day at Garfield Elementary School in Brainerd.
Kirt is one of 30 readers from the Brainerd Rotary Club who have volunteered during the project to improve student literacy at eight Brainerd elementary schools.
