ROSEVILLE (AP) -- Anyone curious about how a neighborhood school stacks up to others has a new tool from the state Department of Children, Families and Learning that makes such comparisons easier.
Education Commissioner Christine Jax on Friday touted a new Web site that puts test data, student demographics and school financial information in one place.
Jax said CLASS -- which stands for Connecting, Learning, and Accountability for Students and Schools -- should help lawmakers, school leaders, parents and others keep better track of schools and assist parents who trying to pick a school for their children through open-enrollment programs.
