FERGUS FALLS -- J.P. Platisha scored the first three goals of the game to record his second straight hat trick in the Brainerd Warriors' 5-1 non-conference boys' hockey victory over the Fergus Falls Otters on Tuesday.
Tom Zaleski of Brainerd added one goal and two assists in the game. Tim Conboy and Brian Reese each collected a pair of assists and Colin Ryan scored one goal and notched an assist for Brainerd, which improved to 11-3-1 overall.
The Warriors excelled on the power play, scoring on three out of five opportunities.
"Our goaltending and special teams were both very solid in the game tonight," said Warriors head coach Ty Eigner.
Brainerd is back in action Saturday at 7:30 p.m. when it hosts Moorhead.
