CLC Student Senate sponsoring Snow Daze

The Central Lakes College Student Senate has organized Snow Daze activities this week, which will be capped by Thursday's 11 a.m. concert by ethnic flute player Peter Phippen in the Chalberg Theatre on the Brainerd campus.

Other events include a medallion hunt, a club and organization fair, and the appearance of a mind reader.

Senators organize events such as the blood drive, ice cream socials, the Homecoming Week events, the college fair, the spring job fair, Spring Fling, intramurals and Awards Day.

Members of the senate include Brandon Shequen, Backus, president; Eric Fadness and Lori Rittgers, both of Brainerd, co-vice presidents; Laura Harthan, New York Mills, director of special projects; Jenna Brown, Baxter, director of operations; Tara Coffman, Brainerd, director of communication; and senators Sarah Rugroden and Jeni Sand, both of Pine River; Mary Warner, Fort Ripley; Josh Geisinger, Annandale; and Brian Barrows, Brainerd.
