Free throw contest Saturday

The Annual Knights of Columbus free throw contest is scheduled noon Saturday at the St. Francis Elementary School gym. The event is open to boys and girls ages 10-14. For more information contact Kevin at 828-9565.
Conference honors trio
The Central Lakes Conference has designated Shaun Kennedy and J.P. Platisha, both of Brainerd, and Nate Miller of Little Falls as its performers of the week ending Jan. 20.
Kennedy, a sophomore diver, set a school record of 283.55 points in a win against Willmar. Platisha, a junior center, had five goals and four assists in three games last week.
Miller, a senior point guard, totaled 66 points, four rebounds 10 assists and two steals in two victories last week.
