Rodney M. Larson

HAM LAKE - Rodney Marvin Larson, 74, of Ham Lake, died Jan. 13, 2008.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota in applied mathematics and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1965 in the Aerospace Control Squadron under NORAD. He married Maxine Archibald of Bay Lake. He worked at Minneapolis Honeywell for 30 years as a research fellow. He was elected and served as Grand Master of Minnesota Masons in 1994-1995 and was a 33rd degree Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Marvin; one brother-in-law, Tony Diaz; and one sister-in-law, Ethel Archibald.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Annette M. and Garry Sharon, Peru, Vt., and Janine C. and Dan Mattfield, Grand Rapids; one brother and sister-in-law, William E. and Bobbi Larson, Ham Lake; one sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne M. and Melvin Jackson, Swanville; sisters- and brother-in-law, Mary Jane Diaz, Pharr, Texas, and Karen and Robert Kretlow, Coon Rapids; brother- and sister-in-law, David E. and Sandy Archibald, Bay Lake; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bay Lake Cemetery.
