The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, in conjunction with Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, will have Senior College at the Woodland Good Samaritan Campus.
he classes are taught by faculty members who share an interest with their students in the topics. It doesn't matter whether you graduated from high school or have a doctoral degree.
Beginning Feb. 19, seniors will be able to take part in six-week classes offered once each week for two hours. These classes will be broadcast live via satellite and those interested can participate at Woodland Good Samaritan's senior classroom. There are no tests or grades, just a chance to learn with others.
The classes offered are: Composing and Painting Dynamic Still Life and Florals; Creative Container Gardening; Keep Those Bodies Rollin'; and Mornings with Counts, Dukes, and Ladies: The History and Legacy of the "Titans of Jazz."
