Motley man faces child porn charge

MOTLEY - A 55-year-old Motley man was charged Wednesday in federal court for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Dennis Gregory Walker was charged in U.S. District Court with one count of possession of child pornography, the U.S. attorney's office in Minneapolis reported.

Walker's charging document alleges that on Feb. 2, 2007, he did knowingly possess one or more matters, specifically computers, hard drives and compact discs, which contained visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

If convicted, Walker faces a potential maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. All sentences are determined by a federal district court judge. David Anderson, public affairs specialist with the U.S. attorney's office in Minneapolis, said his office had no other information to release about the case.
