BOWLUS - A 39-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both of rural Royalton, were arrested Wednesday at a residence near Bowlus after officers executing a search warrant recovered methamphetamine, the Morrison County Sheriff's Department reported.
Sheriff Michel Wetzel said in a news release that the warrant was executed to search for controlled substances and possible stolen property. About 7.2 grams of meth and paraphernalia consistent with meth use were seized.
Both suspects are being held in the Morrison County jail pending formal charges.
The search warrant was the result of a joint investigation involving the Little Falls Police Department, Morrison County Sheriff's office and the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force.
$17,000 in meth seized in Baxter raid
BAXTER - A search warrant executed by the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division Monday at a residence on the 7000 block of Clearwater Road in Baxter resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Baxter woman and the seizure of meth with an estimated street value of $17,000.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported the search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of meth in the Crow Wing County area.
The woman arrested is being held in the Crow Wing County jail pending formal charges of felony possession and distribution of a controlled substance.
The LADID was assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Baxter Police Department and the sheriff's department.
