Pequot Lakes claims 10-U girls' hockey title
The Pequot Lakes 10-U girls' hockey team won the championship at the Litchfield tournament Jan. 12-13.
Pequot Lakes defeated Litchfield 6-2, Willmar 8-0 and Sartell 10-1 in the championship game.
Pequot (16-1) finished second at the Cloquet tournament Dec. 7-9.
Members of the Pequot Lakes Prowlers girls' hockey team: Samantha Bittner, Carly Christiansen, Hailey Deutsch, Kaylyn Eggena, Emily Erickson, Amanda Fleming, Samantha Henrichs, Katarina Jensen, Kimberly Jessen, Courtney Kittock, Erika Monson, Courtney Skluzacek and Michaela Zebro. Coaches are Todd Eggena, Dave Erickson, Pelle Christiansen and Chuck Deutsch.

The 10-U girls will travel to St. Cloud on Friday-Saturday and will play in a 12-team home tournament the weekend of Feb. 1-3.
