STAPLES -- Beatrice "Bea" Holub Schultz, 76, Staples, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Greater Staples Hospital.
She was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Duluth to Harry and Therese (Tretter) Anderson. She attended school in the Motley/Lincoln area. She married Harold "Swede" Holub on Nov. 6, 1948, in Brainerd. They lived in the Motley area until his death in 1975. She moved to Staples. She married Ralph Schultz on Sept. 11, 1993. They lived in Fawn Lake Township until 1997 when they moved to Staples. She worked at the Motley school in the early 1970s, at Stern Rubber in the late 1970s, and at 3M from 1984 until her retirement in June 1990. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Motley.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Andy Anderson, St. Paul Park; three daughters, Dorothy Moris, Browerville, Cheryl Dickey, Staples, and Janice Rohl, Brainerd; a son, Michael Holub, Cedar City, Utah; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a stepson, Jack Schultz, South St. Paul; and a stepdaughter, Jenny Torp, Browerville.
Her first husband; a son, Bruce Frederickson; and an infant granddaughter died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Motley with Pastor Larry Hager officiating. Burial will be in Motley Public Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and an hour before services at Friday at the church.
