HINCKLEY - Crosby-Ironton High School graduate Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante is among the boxers scheduled to participate on a professional boxing card Feb. 1 at the Grand Casino Hinckley Events and Convention Center.

The Battle Grand at the Hinckley Grand will feature six fights. Shobox, a Showtime production, will film the main fights.

Bonsante, the Minnesota middleweight champion, will square off against middleweight contender Kenny "KO" Kost.

A former contestant on the reality TV series "The Contender," Bonsante recently defeated former IBA Americas light middleweight champion Matt "The Predator" Vanda.

Kost, a heavyweight contender from White Bear Lake, is coming off the biggest win of his career, a major decision over Vanda. Kost's record is 12-3-0 with one knockout.

Two other fights are on the card, including Hinckley super middleweight Tim Taggert.

Junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo (11-0, 8 KOs) will take on Ricardo Cortes (22-1-1, 15 KOs). ShoBox will film this main fight.

The co-main event will feature Mickey Bey Jr. (9-0, 6 KOs) who will battle Juan Castaneda (12-0, 9 KOs) for his title in the lightweight division.
