WELCH -- The Brainerd Warrior girls' team placed 11th in Friday's Welch Village Invitational, the nation's largest high school Alpine skiing race.
Brainerd was led by Kaitlyn Ziebell's time of 47.38, which was 99th fastest overall.
In the boys' division, the Warriors placed 35th and were paced by Tim Nelson's time of 42.19, which was 30th overall.
Forty-eight high school teams, and more than 500 individuals, skied in the event.
