UPSALA -- A 22-year-old Waite Park man injured Saturday after being ejected from his pickup is still in critical condition.
Matthew Frank was driving on Highway 238 east of Upsala when he lost control of his pickup, went off the roadway and rolled his vehicle several times in the ditch. The accident happened about 1:30 a.m., the State Patrol reported.
Frank and another of his two passengers, John Horton, 23, Little Falls, were ejected from the pickup.
The third passenger, Andrew Christopherson, 21, St. Cloud, was not thrown from the vehicle. He suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
None of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seat belts.
Frank and Horton were airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, where today Frank was reported in critical condition and Horton was upgraded to fair condition.
