Three hurt in collision

BAXTER -- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday on Highland Scenic Drive and College Road in Baxter.

The accident happened about 12:40 p.m., the Baxter Police Department reported.

Both drivers, Julie Lavalle, 43, Brainerd, and Shirley Boelter, 46, Baxter, as well as a passenger in Shirley Boelter's vehicle, Tate Boelter, 2 months old, Baxter, were treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released.

Boy hurt on bicycle

A 15-year-old boy was hurt Monday when the bicycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle on Green Gables Road, about a quarter-mile from Highway 371.

The accident happened about 5:40 p.m., the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.

Nathan Lightner was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released.

The driver of the vehicle, Betty Munsterteiger, 44, was not injured.
