NISSWA --The Nisswa Fire Department responded to a house fire at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday on Roy Lake Road, about one mile north of Nisswa.

The home is owned by owned by Dan Walberg.

Nisswa Fire Chief Richard Geike said there was fire and smoke damage to the second and third floors and extensive water damage to the first floor.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Walberg was treated for minor burns to his feet, Geike said.

The Pequot Lakes Fire Department provided mutual aid.
