Paul G. Tumms
Paul G. Tumms, 70, Brainerd, died on Jan. 18, 2009, at North Memorial Medical Center.
He was born on March 17, 1938, to Arthur and Matilda (Schellhorn) Tumms in Brainerd.
He married Roberta (Heidecker) on Sept. 12, 1964, at Madden's Resort in Brainerd. He was an electrical engineer. He worked for Unisys and taught as an assistant professor at the University of Grand Forks. He was a Hamm Radio Operator (KOLNH).

He is survived by his wife, Roberta; his children, Tom, Nancy (Mark) Christensen, Paula (Rich) Rheault, Judy (Jim) Kennedy; and his grandchildren, Kelsi, Jessica, Maddie, Eric and Gracie.
He is preceded in death by parents and a brother, Arthur.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Gabriel Waweru officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to North Memorial Hospice.
