Flyers throttle Alexandria 6-1

LITTLE FALLS - Jared Festler continued his torrid scoring pace with two goals and four assists as the Flyers easily dispatched the Alexandria Cardinals 6-1 in Central Lakes Conference boys' hockey Thursday.

Little Falls jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the first period and didn't let up, outscoring Alexandria 4-0 over the final two periods.

Beau Hanowski tried to keep pace with Festler with two goals and two assists. Ben Hanowski added a goal and one assist. Izaak Berglund dished out two assists and Lukas Jorgensen tallied a second period goal for the Flyers.
