Madonna "Donna" Marie Collins, 75, Brainerd, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 8, 1926, in Ripon, Wis., to William and Julia Sullivan. She married Louis Sullivan on March 1, 1947. She had lived in Brainerd since 1946. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, American Legion Post No. 255 Auxiliary, VFW Post No. 1647 Auxiliary and Brainerd Eagle Auxiliary Post No. 287. She spent many years as a foster grandparent. Her husband died on Sept. 7, 1988.
Survivors include a son, Dewayne Collins Sr.; two daughters, Janice Collins Vogt and Julie Collins Jedlicka; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband and her brother, John Sullivan, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Bill Skarich officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with a prayer service held at 7 p.m. tonight and one hour before services at the church.
