Walker's fifth place leads Brainerd

LAKEVILLE - Becky Walker's fifth-place finish on vault led Brainerd as the Warriors placed 11th at the Lakeville North Invite Saturday.
Walker scored 9.5 in her event in a meet that included 16 teams and more than 80 individuals.

"That was pretty good," Warriors coach Dave Maras said of his team's finish. "There were some of the best teams in the state, and some great individuals."
Other top finishers for the Warriors were Kelsi Ring, 11th on vault; and Madison Grausam, 14th in floor exercise.
