Three Warriors go 4-0, Brainerd third

MOORHEAD - Aaron Padrnos, Nick Grausam and Chad Ohman went 4-0 and Levi Rubin 2-0 as the Brainerd Warriors won three of four dual meets and finished third in the Moorhead Gadberry Duals Saturday.

Four Minnesota teams wrestle four North Dakota teams Saturday. Fargo South went 4-0 to win the event, while Brainerd, Rosemount and Moorhead went 3-1. Rosemount finished second via tiebreaker with Brainerd third, Moorhead fourth.

Padrnos improved his record to 24-2 and Ohman is 22-4. Jessen Franzen, 3-1 at 140, is 17-8. Sam Pagel, who was 3-1 between 189 and 215, is 17-7. Mack Glasby, who didn't wrestle because of illness, is 16-3.

"We had to do some juggling in our lineup," Warriors co-head coach Mike Boran said. "We've been fighting illness and injury, but we had a good weekend. We're wrestling OK right now."
