Scott Andrew Johnson was born May 1, 1985, in Park Rapids, Minn., to Bruce and Carolyn (Clason) Johnson. He was raised in Little Falls and Brainerd and graduated from Brainerd High School in 2003. He had worked various jobs in the construction field including as a landscaper and roofer. He had been living between Brainerd and Northfield for the past year and a half. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and was learning to golf. He was a quiet, courteous and polite young man, and his greatest enjoyment came from his family and close friends.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Johnson, of Northfield; his father and stepmother, Bruce and Mary Johnson, of Brainerd; his sister, Stephanie, of Northfield; his grandparents, Ronald and Donna Clason, of Northfield, and Donald and Sally Johnson, of Park Rapids; his great-grandmother, Inez Clason, of Oklahoma City; and many other relatives and friends.
Scott passed away Saturday afternoon, Jan. 15, 2005, in an automobile accident west of Northfield, at the age of 19.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at the Alliance Church in Northfield. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at the Alliance Church in Little Falls.
