AH-GWAH-CHING -- LeRoy Miller, 73, Aitkin, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in Ah-Gwah-Ching.
He was born July 24, 1926, to Earl and Agnes (Reither) Miller. He went to Bennettville School and Aitkin High School. He also attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis and became a minister. He married O. Stephanie Cofield on Feb. 9, 1946, in Minneapolis. He served two years in the Merchant Marines. He had lived in Granby, Colo., Norton, Kan., Denver, Colo., Port Angeles, Wash., Waycross, Ga., Winchester, Va., and Seattle, Wash., before retiring in Aitkin in 1987. He belonged to the Independent Assemblies of God International.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Wanda Lippert, Bellingham, Wash., Rebecca Sprecher, Rockford, Ill., and Rhoda Berrios, Hampton, Va.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Miller; and two sisters, Ruth Dahlberg and Gail Newland.
His parents and a brother, Terrance, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Glory Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Stauter officiating. Burial will be in Glory Baptist Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Glory Baptist Church.
Friends may call at Willim Aitkin Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Monday and an hour before services Jan. 25.
