BEMIDJI -- The 20th annual Logging Days will run Feb. 1 at Buena Vista Ski Area and Logging Village, 12 miles north of Bemidji on County Road 15.
Step back in time with a sleigh ride, relax to old-time music while eating flapjacks or Loggers Stew.
Watch chain saw carving, crosscut saw, peavey throwing and blacksmith demonstrations. Skilled teamsters and their horses will demonstrate log loading, stump pulling, tree felling and other logging methods.
Children's activities will include a magic show, treasure hunt, golden horseshoe hunt, lumberjack storytelling, pony rides and more. Honored lumberjacks and camp workers will be inducted into the Lumberjack Hall of Fame.
Crafts and baked goods will be available. View harness work, slide show, photos and paintings.
Cost is $5 for those 13 and older; $3 for ages 6-12; and free for ages 5 and under. Family rate is $20.
