A thorough review by a fresh set of eyes is always a good idea whether the item being perused is a city or a newspaper editorial that can be plagued with typos.
The cities of Alexandria and Willmar thought they needed a fresh set of eyes to view their respective cities so they participated in a "First Impressions" exchange visit. The exchange was designed to help civic leaders discover their cities' strengths and weaknesses, as viewed through the eyes of first-time visitors.
The Echo Press of Alexandria reported the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is looking to repeat the experience with another city that's not in their trade area.
The Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce should consider whether a "First Impressions" exchange might benefit this area. It never hurts to get a second opinion.
