Last Wednesday, Paulucci Space Theater brought its Skylab from Hibbing to the Emily Charter School gymnasium. A presenter met with each class while the children were in the skylab. The students learned what stars and constellations are visible now and heard interesting folk legends of the night sky, as well as which planets are visible in the current sky. The students took a virtual tour of the solar system and found out the latest information about the sun, moons and planets. They figured out how the moon moves, why we see those crazy phases and eclipses, and took a look back at the first lunar landing.
