Brent Sanderson, 33, Brainerd, formerly of Little Falls and Denver, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, in Bayfield County, Wis., near Ashland, Wis., from injuries in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born Sept. 7, 1969, in Little Falls to Marie Sanderson and Darrell Sanderson. He lived in Darling Township and attended Little Falls schools. Following his schooling, he moved to Denver where he was self-employed as a general contractor. In 2001, he moved to Brainerd. He owned and operated Sanderson Construction Inc. He married Kristi Dockter on May 12, 2002, in Lake Tahoe, Nev. They lived in Brainerd.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Madison Jo, at home; a son, Brigg Zimmerman, White Bear Lake; his stepmother, Janet (Rausch) Sanderson, Little Falls; his mother, Marie Sanderson, Baxter; a brother, Nicholas Sanderson, Little Falls; a sister, Janelle Fitch, Pillager; and his grandmothers, Lois Sanderson and Mille Rausch, Little Falls.
His father and two grandfathers, Chester Sanderson and Othmar Rausch, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Carl Larson officiating. Burial will be in Darling Cemetery in Little Falls. Memorials are preferred.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and from 8-10 a.m. Thursday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with a prayer service at 5 p.m. today.
