ST. PAUL (AP) -- The Minnesota Civil Liberties Union has named a Minneapolis attorney as its new president, the organization announced.
Lawrence Field took over Jan. 1 after Michael Goldner stepped down after a two-year term.
Field, a 20-year MCLU member, has been on its board of directors since 1999.
Field graduated from Princeton University in 1977 and the University of Minnesota Law School in 1980.
