Barking dogs

My comment is about people in the country who let their dogs bark for hours on end, day and night. I live north of town in a residential area, Legionville Road to be exact, and it's been a problem for quite a while -- even in the winter time, you can hear the dogs, even indoors. It gets pretty annoying especially when you got kids you're trying to put to bed at night.

Airport expansion

Much has been said about few people showing up at the town meetings about the airport expansion. Is it possible that no one paid attention because with the events of Sept. 11, the airline cutbacks and reduction of flights, no one in their right mind thought it would proceed? Where are the numbers to justify this expansion? I am not talking about someone quoting statistics but real verifiable numbers. Why would you even think of spending that kind of money without putting it to a vote by the people that were taxed for that money?
