Bantam hockey

A big thank you to VFW Post 1647 here in Brainerd for having the spaghetti feed for the Bantam A hockey tournament. An outstanding job was done by all involved and nearly 300 people were fed.

Also a big thank you to the color guard for presenting the colors at the Championship game on Sunday.

Women's Center

The staff of the Women's Center would like to send a huge thank you to all the caring and generous persons, businesses, schools, churches and service organizations that made cash and gift donations to fill our Christmas Wish Lists. The support that we received from you was truly heart warming and very much appreciated.

This year we provided clothing, toys, household appliances and many other gifts to 37 families. Without your help we would not have been able to provide holiday cheer for the women and children in our community who escaped from violent homes during the past year. We would like to pass on to you the Joy, Appreciation and Gratitude expressed by the women and children who benefited from your generosity.

Thank you again for your continuing support of our work to end violence against women and children. May your New Year be filled with peace.
